Tastes: Comfort Food, Southern, Tex-Mex, Vegetarian

About Us:
Two Skillets has nothing to do with cooking at all, it is to honor two people who had a huge impact
on the owner, Chef Rob Richards.
Chef Rob's dad and his grandfather both instilled values and a work ethic that were ingrained deeply into Rob. “Never give up and do not stop till the job is done! Everything is about excellent service and customer satisfaction.”
With more than 28 years in the culinary profession, Chef Rob Richards has cooked his way through the North East, the Carolinas, and the great state of Texas - in perfecting his art in dine dining and casual restaurants as well as hotels.
A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Chef Rob's family moved him to Texas at a very influential age. Rob started his career working as a busser and dishwasher, then prep cook before moving to the front of the house to learn that part of the business. During that time, Rob longed for the back of the house.
His love affair with cooking and creating exciting food for people was his driving force behind pursuing culinary arts school. So, he packed his bags and moved to Vermont where he earned his Executive Chef Certification at New England Culinary Institute.
Traveling and working in kitchens around the North and South in his tours, Chef Rob’s creations have been served to two presidents and Government officials as well as countless number of celebrities.
It is Chef Rob’s distinct pleasure to bring you a little bit of Mississippi comfort with some Texas flair in every dish you order.

La Trokita Dulce Y Picante54
Origin: Mexican
Categories: Beverages, Breakfast, Burgers, Chicken Wings, Crepes, Desserts, Ice Cream, Shaved Ice, Smoothies, Sweets & Treats, Taco, Waffles
Signature Dish: Quesabirria
About Us:
I shared a few of my creations with friends, and their reactions were overwhelming. They loved what I cooked, and some even encouraged me to consider turning my passion into something more. That’s when the seed was planted. It has always been a language of connection, a bridge between cultures, and an expression of love. A food truck would allow me to showcase my cooking skills, offer people something different from the usual restaurant fare, and build a community around food that felt personal, exciting, and unique. The freedom that comes with having a food truck also excites me. I love the idea of being able to travel, participate in festivals, and pop up in unexpected places. Ultimately, starting a food truck is about pursuing something I am passionate about—sharing my love of food with others. I’ve always believed that food has the power to brighten people’s days, and through this food truck, I want to make sure everyone who visits leaves with a full belly and a smile on their face. It's not just a business to me; it’s a way of living, a way of creating and connecting with people in the most authentic way I know—through the universal language of food.
