About Us:
In 2019, after serving 20 years with the NY C Police Department, I decided to relocate to NC. Shortly thereafter, Covid restrictions were implemented. Rather than staying in bored, I looked into one of my dreams of selling street food. It was then that DeeVine Dogs was born. I enjoy serving my community and this was a way to do it to showcase my talent.

I was born in a small island in the Caribbean called, Barbados. In 1981, I was relocate to NYC and after High School I enlisted in the US Army.

My mom, rest her soul, encouraged me to joined the NYPD after leaving the Military
She knew I loved helping and interacting with people. She also taught me at an early age how to create meals. So living in a large country, I was fully prepared to take on any challenge. I knew my dream of preparing meals would come true and it did.

Connecting with people through food, is so exciting and rewarding. It takes long hours and dedication, but we strive to be the best at what we do, and to bring new and surprising treats to all of our customers!!

About Us:
Having a bakery has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a teenager.

I realized that if I was ever going to make my dream come true, it would need to be now or never. Deciding to incorporate my love for baking with my active lifestyle, doing a food truck & custom dessert orders was a no-brainer. Within the month, I was able to draw up my business plan, get my truck, look for my kitchen, and most importantly, get my family on board. Honestly, picking out the name was the hardest part!

With my husband doing graphics and the website and my wonderful, social platform-savvy kids helping get the word out, we are truly a family business. We are extremely excited to bring Doo Wop Desserts on the road to y'all!
