Regardless of culture, everywhere around the world, people eat together. This food truck is our determination for success and enthusiasm to serve fine Indian Cuisine.
Through this endeavor, we also intend to expand our community to all those who love food and enjoy their indulgence to the core. With 15 years of rich experience in the Food Industry, we have taken a big leap of faith to cater to the palate of different individuals. Our chef has put a lot of thought into curating the menu with all the delicacies from his hometown in Northern India. Certainly, this will be your one-stop shop to satisfy all your cravings for great Indian Food that’s made while keeping in mind the emotional perception “ Food made with love tastes better”.
Our little food truck will be your home away from home, serving scrumptious meals with all the nutritional qualities/values intact.
About our Chef:
Chef Atulya Singh, comes from a small town based in the heart of North India, where love and respect for food were one of the pillars of family education. He got early culinary inspiration from his Grandmother, who has been an excellent cook with great imagination. He spent most of his time in her kitchen where she was constantly cooking up delicious meals and teaching all her family recipes of authentic Indian Food. He was inspired by how food can beautifully narrate a story and convey cultural ideas. He pursued his passion through a degree in Hotel Management and further honed his skills at the reputed Culinary Academy in India, Hyderabad, ( One of the 10 best Academies of the world ), under the mentorship of Chef Sudhakar Rao and guidance of renowned faculties of the Academy.
He took all his learnings to gain experience at some of the most prestigious hotels in India like The Taj, Marriott & ITC Maurya in New Delhi. He made the big move to the United States and experimented with his culinary skills in various other specialties, the most recent one being at Bon Appetit of Compass Group, where he was heading some of their premium accounts like Google, Amazon & Cloud Era. Having a broad spectrum of culinary experience across Hotels & Industrial Kitchens, gave him the knowledge and skillset to elevate his career to entrepreneurship.
Additionally and advantageously Chef Atulya Singh is trained in Food Hygiene & Safety Acts – The Food Standards 1990, The Food Safety Act 1990, Food Safety Regulations (General Hygiene) 1995 & Food Safety (Temperature Control) 1995, and has meticulously complied with the above legislation and carried out periodic audits to ensure the quality of food served to the guests.
“Atulya Bharat” bears testimony of his love and passion for good quality food. The menu is close to his heart as he will be reviving some of his family recipes from North India.
When not in the kitchen, you’ll find him working out in a gym, running outdoors, hiking, and chilling with his cat Bailey.

Phat Salads and Wraps was the first non-taco food truck to open in Napa more than 15 years ago. When the business was listed for sale in 2018, it was a no brainer for Chef, and now owner Tim. In addition to maintaining the beloved menu, Tim is using his extensive restaurant and catering experience to bring new facets to the business including: specialty menu items, small bites, boxed lunches, event planning and custom meals for all occasions. It is with great satisfaction that we continue the PHAT (Pretty Health And Tasty) tradition of a healthy alternative to fast food.

My love for cooking began as a child of 4 when I made my first official dish- spaghetti -well with mom's help. I rolled out my first chapati/roti a few weeks later. My mother happened to be a chef working in some of the best five-star restaurants around. My food is not only inspired by her but by a long family legacy. A legacy of cooking one would say with the mind of a Natural Path, which was borne by our great great great grandparents. Most notably our renowned great Grand Father who trained with the best natural paths during the early 1900's; to enhance the family's knowledge base which was derived from over 250 years of prior history. Our main ingredients are the freshest available, and 100% Organic! No GMO, No Antibiotics -even the sneaky ones. Yes, we do have Vegan and gluten-free options in fact entire services can be nothing but -upon request.
We dedicate our food mission to our Grandfather who was -among many other amazing selfless things- a renowned natural path; a service he provided for free.

We started this Bachi truck and chose this menu because we liked the higher quality of product in the lobster, ribeye and filet. We are also at the age where we need to be more aware of the fuel our bodies are burning and care about the people who come to our window. Our vegetables are sturdy, seasonal and cooked a la minute to retain freshness and keep health benefits at their peak. We use ingredient that possess natural health benefits such as ginger, lemon and garlic. We love to eat and make every plate according to these parameters.
Andy and I went to highschool together and met sophomore year. In 1996 we went on a month long backpacking trip through Europe. On this trip we decided to go our separate ways, he in merchant services and me in the culinary world, and meet up again later to open a restaurant. That time is now and this is our concept! It is booming with flavor and umami. Catch un the street or bring us to you. We are on the tip of the iceberg with a mountain under us so you will hear our name in circles where they talk about good steak and perfectly cooked shellfish.
