We started Woody's Shaved Ice to be able to make a living while having fun and helping out our community. We love helping with fund raisers for local schools, kids sport teams, hospitals, churches, non profits, etc.

We love to help with parties such as grand openings, birthdays, corporate events, weddings, pool parties, customer/employee appreciation or just to have fun. We enjoy providing for a small event as much as we do for a large event. No matter the size we will have fun with you.

Vera Mae's Barbecue is inspired by my mother Vera Mae Mitchell who passed away January 21, 2018. As a kid my mother instilled in me the values of cooking a good meal, she never cut corners when it came to quality of her meals. She has blessed many of out family and friends with her wonderful cooking and I would like to continue her legacy. We bought a food truck and kicked off our business in 2016 at the Outdoor Retailer Trade show. Soon after we started serving up Aloha all over Southern California. Nothing but Acai Bowls and Shakkas! I started this business after I was laid off from my corporate job where I worked for almost 25 years. I realized I was wasting my life away doing something I did not enjoy, so I decided to open up a food truck. I have always had a passion for cooking and I wanted to share it with the world. I believe in using nothing but fresh quality ingredients. We also do not offer rice or beans, we specialize in tacos. My Carne Asada tacos are made with 100% fresh hand trimmed flank steak, the chicken tacos are made with fresh tender juicy chicken thighs. The carnitas are made with the finest pork, hand trimmed to remove all the fatty pieces, and oven baked to perfection. My seafood tacos are also freshly prepared daily. I use nothing but fresh ingredients, I even unplugged the freezer on the truck because nothing has ever been put in it. I believe people work hard every day, and what they consume should be matched with the same amount of hard work.

If you are looking for a cheap option to feed guests for a party, then I am not the option for you. If you are looking to make a statement to your guests that you care about the quality of the food you offer them, then I am the one for you. Our menu is competitively priced as well.
